New Year's Day

New Year's Day was pretty quiet for us.  We did have friends for dinner but that was about it. We fixed the traditional black eyed peas and greens. There is no such thing as turnip greens here so Mary made spinach casserole. Those of you who know me well, know that I did not partake of it. We also had pork chops and ribs, fresh corn on the cob and mexican cornbread. We are looking forward to 2012. Happy New Year to everyone.
