This is like a big ferris wheel that takes 30 minutes to go around.  You can put around 25 people in each pod.  Enjoy the view!!

Garden by the Bay is fairly new in Singapore.  It is somewhat like the Botanical Gardens except that it is enclosed.  I only have a few pictures because the line was so long to get in that we decided to wait until another time. You can look forward to more pictures later when we make another trip to Singapore.

These appear to be flowers at night when they are lite up.  They have vines growing up them.

Kuala Selangor

This past Saturday we took a tour to Kuala Selangor. We went to see the Silver Leaf Monkeys, some Palm Oil Plantations and the Fire Flies. The monkeys you see however are not the Silver Leaf Monkeys but other monkeys we ran into that were very hungry. They were so aggressive that I just got back into our van. David had three on him at one time when we was trying to feed them. The tour of the Fire Flies of course was done after dark. We got into a small boat and headed out to where the Fire Flies were suppose to be. They say that the pollution is killing the fire flies so there are not as many as there was several years ago. It was still pretty neat to see the ones we saw. All in all, it was a nice tour.
