Christmas in KL 2014

I arrived back in KL on December 13th.  This will be our last Christmas here so I took lots of pictures.  It is still amazing to me how much they decorate for Christmas here.

Thirty8

Thirty8 is the restaurant that opened in the Grand Hyatt last year.  David decided to take some of his employees there one night.  The food was great and of course the view was wonderful.

David wanted to take me to this restaurant before we came home.  He had been with Rowan but it opened the year that I was home so we went one Friday night.  It is located on the 57th floor of the 3rd Petronas Tower.  The food was wonderful and the view was even better.

The flat area on the left is where the 4th Petronas Tower is being built.

High Tea

My friend Carol Antell and I went to the Majestic Hotel for High Tea one day.  The Majestic is the historial hotel in Kuala Lumpur.  It is located near the railway station and was built in 1932 as a 51 room hotel.  During World War II, it was used as a transit camp by the Japanese. We chose to have our tea in the Orchid Conservatory.  As you can tell from the pictures it was a beautiful place.
