I Love Singapore!!

We went to Singapore again this past weekend.  The Formula One Races were going on at night on the streets of Singapore.  They close the streets off, add seats, bring in the vendors with lots of food and have bands playing.  We had a great time.

We visited The Shoppes at Mariana Bay Sands.  This place is beautiful and you could shop all day and probably not get to every store there. 

We also went to the Art and Science Museum and saw the Harry Potter Exhibition.  We really enjoyed this but of course you could not take any pictures.

I have included some pictures of our hotel and the little village around.  Needless to say we had a great weekend.

David and I spent the weekend at the Avillion Resort in Port Dickson which is located about 1 1/2 hours from KL.  It is actually the closest beach around.  The place was beautiful and very relaxing.  Our room was air conditioned but the bathroom was open to the sky and the water below. It was a nice weekend get-a-way.

I loved watching the tide go in and out. In the middle of the night even as far out as we were, there was no water under our chalet.
